In the event of a child for whom the Club is responsible goes missing, the following procedure will be adopted:
Ensure all other Children in the Club's care are looked after and are not involved in any search.
Inform the Child's Parents and the Police as soon as reasonably possible and in any event within 20 minutes of notification.
Organise a search of the immediate area by all available responsible adults. A report back time and place should be agreed and a responsible adult should remain at that reference point. This adult should make a note of events and have a detailed description of the missing child.
All missing children events must be notified to the Club Welfare Officer who must immediately inform the County Welfare Officer.
